Northern
Wildlings
At Northern Wildlings, our mission is simple yet profound: to educate young people through play and outdoor activities, providing them with a therapeutic and enriching environment. We believe that spending time outdoors offers young people a unique pathway to personal growth, creativity, and emotional well-being.
Our Approach
We operate with the belief that outdoor education promotes holistic development. Our programs are tailored to meet the diverse needs of young people, offering them the chance to grow physically, emotionally, and socially.
We emphasize:
• Active Learning: Encouraging children to engage physically with their environment through games, exploration, and creative tasks.
• Emotional Well-being: Providing a space for children to unwind, reflect, and express themselves freely in a non-judgmental, supportive setting.
• Connection to Nature: Teaching the importance of sustainability and instilling a deep appreciation for the natural world in every child.
Target Audience
Our youth programs are designed for school-aged children and young people seeking a fun, supportive, and educational experience outside of the traditional classroom. We work closely with schools, parents, and community organisations to ensure that Northern Wildlings reaches children from all walks of life, including those with neurodiversity , such as autism and ADHD. We also cater for the Grown ups please see our Adult Courses and Events page.
